Beginning on August 15, 2011, Rivercliff Lutheran Church in Sandy Springs, GA, began a two year plan to read the entire Bible. We are using the plan from the Today’s Light Bible. If you have the Today’s Light Bible, that’s great, but you don’t need to have it to participate! The reading plan is posted under the heading “Daily Reading List.” Also, we will use this blog site to discuss what we are reading. Daily, Pastor Jordan will be posting notes and observations from that day’s reading (and there may even be a guest post from time to time!) and you’ll be able to view them both on the blog and on the Rivercliff Facebook Page.
The Today’s Light Bible helps individuals and groups read and study the entire NIV Bible in just two years, breaking the readings down into manageable daily portions that can be completed in just 15 minutes or less. Brief devotions based on the text help readers understand and apply that day’s Scripture selection to their lives.
